Recording Digital Piano in Analog?
I need to record my digital piano in Analog. I’ve been looking at different products and came across the Behringer UCA202 U-Control Audio Interface. It has to analog inputs and outputs, and connects to your laptop via USB.
The preamp I have now is for guitar but has two analog inputs on it as well – the only this is I haven’t been able to get the sound from my piano to the laptop with this so I hope I don’t run into the same problem with this interface. Anybody have any experience with this or know of a product that works well?
The piano I use is a williams concerto. I bought about 5 years ago. It has line out jacks on it but I’m not sure it’s transmitting analog signals – I think it might just be stereo out for an amp. Can I still use these jacks to record analog?
Yes the Behringer interface will work with your piano. You’ll need a pair of 1/4 inch to RCA cables:
