how are the 4 leads of a dual voice coil speaker connected internally to the 4 speaker terminals.?
Imagine two coils of wire overlapping one another that are wrapped around a short tube. Each coil will have two ends. These are the connections.
This is how to wire one DVC in parallel http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j230/sparky3489/SINGLE-PARALLEL.jpg The resulting impedance (ohms) will be half of the value of one coil.
This is how top wire one DVC is series http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j230/sparky3489/SERIES-DUAL.jpg The resulting impedance will be twice of the value of one coil.
