Ford Focus SES warranty?
Is it transferable? I bought a 2008 Ford Focus SES. That has 12,000 miles on it and recorded the first February 2008. I bought it from a dealer. My question is the Ford factory warranty is transferable to my dealer? Should I get 3yrs/36000 Factory Warranty 5yrs/100 integral, 000 mile powertrain warranty? In addition, distributor said that needs no warranty card. My car and the VIN is reflected by guarantee. If I have to do any repairs to a Ford dealership and evrything will be careful. Could you please guys confirm?
The distributor is the correct advice. All manufacturer warranties Ford automatically keep the car and I do not need to be registered to each new owner. When the VIN is entered into a computer that will make the exact Ford dealer "on the date of service." The "date of service" is the date that the guarantee Manufacturer begun. The warranty does not start when the vehicle was purchased (used), but when it was purchased or first registered as a dealer demo.
