Techinal question about pro speaker?
I have a pair of Pyle Pro 800w speakers. One of them has very low volume. When i turn the vol up about 1/2 way i hear a clk, and lose all volume. I power off/on and back to low volume. I contacted Pyle Pro, and was told the splitter board was bad. Iordered and installed a new one. Same thing.
any suggestions of what to try next?
Always switch the l & R leads to the speakers, that will tell you if it’s the amp or the speakers.
Sounds like its the speaker, maybe a blown voice coil.
Good quality speakers can be repaired, Google “speaker re-coning”
