Lovers … Classic Yellow Duncan Hines or Betty Crocker cake mix recipe butter yellow?
Yes, I know some of you are ready to defend zero … I tried two times before but I have no money for an electric mixer network / / etc right now. Which of these two best cake mixes flavor? Should I add applesauce to the mix or vanilla pudding mix or is that ruin the taste? Thanks!
Duncan Hines was a finer texture, but tears easily and therefore is not as good for decoration. Betty Crocker has a courser texture that I prefer and is best for decoration. I always use apple or fruit baby food instead of oil and the flavor is still very good, is low in fat. If you want to try something really big, make a butter flavored Betty Crocker Super moisture. The use of apricot baby food instead of oil. Place apricot preserves between the layers and finish with a mocha frosting. Simply delicious!
